At Thebe Stockbroking all our CSI efforts are centered on that of the Thebe Investment Corporation’s philosophy which is to give back to the community from where it comes.
To achieve this objective, the Thebe Foundation (“the Foundation”), an independent trust, was formed in February 2011. The Foundation drives the overarching CSI strategy and framework for Thebe, whilst partnering with subsidiaries within Thebe on specific initiatives or projects.

The core focus areas of the Foundation are Education and Enterprise Development. The majority of the Foundation’s beneficiaries are from previously disadvantaged South Africans.

Our focus on Secondary
Through the Thebe Foundation, Thebe Stockbroking is a sponsoring patron of the Student Sponsorship Programme and along with Thebe Foundation identifies high potential young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and affording them opportunities to realise that potential in educational centres of excellence.

Our focus on Tertiary
At this level we target tertiary students studying towards qualifications in finance and related disciplines. Our focus being students with an interest in Capital Markets

Workplace Training and Development
A dedicated, structured programme with on-the-job training across all business units of a typical capital markets business. At this level we have

• Equity Analysis Internship
• Economic Analysis Internship
